RRR Director SS Rajamouli Gets Birthday Wishes from Superstars

SS Rajamouli has established himself as a master storyteller who has the ability to pull audiences to the theaters whenever there is a film release. Being the director of path-breaking films like Makkhi (2012), Bahubali Series (2015 and 2017), and RRR (2022), Rajamouli has time and again explored newer grounds to captivate everyone with his spectacular vision.
Today is his birthday, and he has turned 50 years old. On his big day, superstars from Bollywood and the South Indian film industry wished him health and happiness.
Ram Charan took to X (previously Twitter) to wish the RRR director a happy birthday. It was Rajamouli's fantasy film Magadheera that catapulted Ram Charan to popularity. After that, the two worked together on the Oscar-nominated film RRR.

In the post, Ram Charan wrote, "Truly adore my moments with you. Happiest Birthday, @ssrajamouli Garu." He also posted two pictures from behind the scenes of RRR.
Bollywood star Ajay Devgn also wished the Bahubali director by posting a picture from RRR in which he played a small role. Ajay Devgn had collaborated with the director earlier for the Hindi voiceover in Makkhi. He wrote, "Happy Birthday, Rajamouli sir! Keep creating masterpieces that touch hearts worldwide."

Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu wished him a happy birthday and wrote, "Here's to many more years of your cinematic brilliance". Along with that, superstar Jr. NTR also posted a picture with Rajamouli and sent him love on his birthday.
SS Rajamouli is known for making high-octane fantasy films. His film Bahubali broke new ground for Indian cinema, shutting down all box-office records when it was released. His last film, RRR, was the most expensive film ever made in India and was a visual spectacle.
RRR even won the Oscar for Best Original Song for the song Naatu Naatu, which left everyone dazzled. Along with that, at the 69th National Film Awards, the film won six awards in the categories of Best Popular Feature Film, Best Music Direction, and Best Male Playback Singer.

He is the son of the famous screenwriter V. Vijayendra Prasad, with whom he has co-written many films.
