Get ready for another dose of laughter and chaos! Fifteen years after Sajid Nadiadwala`s Housefull first hit screens on April 30, 2010, the makers are celebrating the milestone in style. They`ve just dropped the much-awaited teaser for Housefull 5, promising fans another rollercoaster ride with India`s biggest comedy franchise.
The minute-long teaser gives fans exciting glimpses of the film`s massive star cast, all set against the backdrop of a luxurious cruise ship. However, there`s a thrilling twist this time around – amidst the signature comedy and confusion, a mysterious killer is lurking onboard! This installment is being playfully dubbed a "killer comedy".
Sharing the excitement, the official announcement captured the mood perfectly. Nadiadwala Grandson wrote on Instagram, "15 Years Ago Today... The Madness Began! India’s Biggest Franchise is back with the 5th instalment, and this time it is not just chaos and comedy... but a KILLER Comedy! Here’s presenting the teaser of #Housefull5. #Housefull5 releases in cinemas near you on 6th June 2025!" The teaser promises "five times the madness, mayhem, and mirth" on what`s being called the "wildest cruise of the year".
Housefull 5 boasts an incredibly packed ensemble cast. Franchise regulars Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh return, joined by Abhishek Bachchan, who previously tickled funny bones in Housefull 3. Chunky Pandey, another staple of the series, is also back.
The familiar faces don`t stop there, with Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Jackie Shroff, and Ranjeet returning from previous installments. Adding fresh energy to the mix are new additions like Sanjay Dutt, Sonam Bajwa, Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir. Steering this ship is director Tarun Mansukhani, taking over from previous directors Sajid Khan and Farhad Samji. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala not only backs the film under his Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment banner but also penned the story himself. The screenplay is a collaborative effort between Mansukhani and Farhad Samji. Speaking about the project earlier, Sanjay Dutt mentioned, “I am doing Housefull; that’s another crazy comedy...”
